As I mentioned in an earlier AppleSwitcher Blog entry, my MacBook seems to be able to pick up WiFi nodes from what seems like over 100 yards/meters away.
Last night at Uptown Espresso in Belltown (downtown Seattle), I saw so many I had to get a screen capture.

Yeah, there’s an insane amount of access points in the belltown/queen anne area. In Queen Anne I regularly see 10-15 AP’s available. Lots of which are unsecured ;p
